Fall Table Runner Finished

I've finished the table runner.

The pattern is  -White Christmas- by Cheryl Goss at Willowberry Designs
The pattern was very easy to follow, and I can see myself making many of these in different themes.

Cheryl's pattern has beautiful holly leaves and berries in two of the corners.  I had thought of embroidering maple leaves, but then I would have had to come up with a leaf pattern, and it all seemed like more than I wanted to get into right now.

I thought  that perhaps I could put yo-yo's in the corner -- looks somewhat like little mums-- but then decided against it as it would be like me to set a glass or something down on the table and it would spill.  I had made only 2 in fall colors when I decided against it,  so I added a white to just get an idea of how it would look.

Hi Judy, This looks great, well done. The fabric looks stunning, the pattern really did not break it down. Though I too like the runner better without the yoyos. Hope you get your qfd stuff soon. j-j

Hi Sis! Everything is beautiful! I had to laugh when I saw the fabric you have on the rocker to make a cushion as I always suspected you would use the fabric before Jan or I got around to it! I told Jess the story and showed her the fabric when she was here for her first ever sewing experience this past week. She is coming back for part two next week. I think she will be hooked. You inspire me to get going!
