 I choose a lime slice to use for my design.

A lime slice is a little  bizarre  i know, but my thought was that if your working on a series of designs and your going to stretch your creative mind to come up with multiple ideas of a subject, is the subject matter or the ability to creatively think of ideas more important.  Hence a lonely lime slice.
I think that this is a debate to have, but perhaps not for my first class in designing in series.  I should have chosen something that would have lent itself to the lessons and exercises of the class a little better.

The first design would be fabric lime parts or fabric printer paper of the lime parts,  then free motion quilting the drawn parts.

The second photo is just to show some other options for series designs.  Cut and paste these various lie wedges on a pleasing background then free motion quilting on the drawn parts.

I have more lime design options I will post soon.  I also want to share with you other wallhanging designs I have been working on.  Most recently my bamboo wallhangings  I am very excited about these.
